I had the chance to shoot a friends Stewart longbow. He doesn't remember if it is a Slammer or a R/D model.
How can I tell and what difference do you find between them?
The Slammer is an R/D bow.
Your best bet is to call Leon and let him know the serial number on the bow. He'll give you all the information you need. Just be careful, if you talk to him for too long you might find a hole burnt in your wallet.

Call Leon and stop on by.
You can then have the opportunity to shoot a variety of bows he has on hand.
Visit, you will not regret it.
The R and D model is his mild reflex/deflex that strings up into a D shape.
The Slammer is still R and D but is a much more radical limb and does not string into a D shape.
I have always tried to shoot longbows but the grip was never quite right. Or they were slugs, so far as performance.
The one I shot was not super fast but shot well for me. Similar grips seem to be found on the Black Widows.
evgb,
Do you have one?
I am across the river in Etters.
I own a Slammer. 64". 55@28. You're welcome to try it sometime.

A bit above my comfort draw weight, but once we get clear of the snow, I would like to try it.
I shoot at Harrisburg Archery Club
