I noticed something on the shipping tape on a box I had received from Woodcraft. I was moving the box last night when it caught my eye.

I had never noticed it before, the logo on the tape was just the Indian roughing out a stave as seen above.
Thought it was pretty neat.
I cut it out, that's the best pic I could find on the net and didn't see it on the woodcraft site.
Yeah I buy my riser woods there and noticed that logo. I wish they had more than the turning stock in 2"x2"x22". It is still not quit seasoned and end checks if you remove the wax off the ends(I've recently learned)
I was in a store in Fort Worth and they had larger stock.
Had a nice stick of Bloodwood, 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 24".
Thanks for the tip, just got a 2"x2"x24" of Sapele in yesterday.
Yeah leave the end wax on for a while before you work it.
heck..the one here in MA has 2"X12"x10' rough boards of just about every hardwood they carry in the turning size...explaining to the wife why I laid out a couple hundred for a board might not go over too well though :)
