Title: Black Limba

Post by: David Flanrey on February 19, 2019, 02:07:13 PM: Hey Stic, I used BL in the top part of a riser that held the inserts for the limbs for my son-in-laws recurve. It blew up in his face. In my opinion the BL is too soft to hold the insert. I won't use it again for that purpose.

With that said, I also used it in the belly side of the riser for my three piece longbow. I have been shooting it for years with no problems. I guess depends on where you use it. Beautiful wood.
