Brian Peterson, of Cedarcreek Taxidermy, gave me my caribou rug at the United Bowhunters of Missouri Festival this past weekend. I arrowed this bull in September of 2017. It took over a a year to get the hide tanned and sent to me from Quebec. When I got it, I immediately gave it Brian so he could work his magic. I am very happy with the outcome.

Looks great!
Yes, it does look great!
Very nice!
That's cool! I regret not saving the hide off my elk a few years ago but it was hot and far and the meat took precedence - will you wall hang it or use on couch or what?
Tim B
Tim, it's set up to hang on the wall so that's what I'll probably do. I'd hate to think of my bloodhound's and Great Pyrenees' muddy footprints all over it!

Looks great. I had a shoulder mount done on my Mountain Caribou, but the rear part, I had a small rug made. I placed it on the floor below the shoulder mount. They are beautiful animals. Just got a note from the taxidermist in Namibia - my rugs and mounts are about to be shipped. Should have everything in a few weeks.
Very nice!
that is great, a trophy that's not horns..

Congrats..
