I am building my first 2 bows, one is a 60" takedown longbow, I have a local bowyer guiding me along on it. The other is a 48" takedown recurve from bingham's. Binghams draw wieght sheet doesn't give any info on the 48" recurve. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations, on the thickness. I am trying to hit 25 to 30lbs @ 25"

I would call Binghams if they designed it . They should get you real close .

X2 what Kenny said.

I don't think they have a 48" but they do have a 58" on their bow weight chart.

Hello,
I built 2 several years ago. I emailed Binghams and they sent stack thicknesses for 20# and 25#, if I remember correctly. If you want to wait til weekend, I can post them here, or you may ask Bingham.

Thanks for the help, I sent bingham's a email this morning.

Hello,
here's the stacks I got from Bingham:
The limb thickness for the
youth t.d.
15# about .170"
20# about .180"
25# about .190".
