I recently got this bow on auction and wanted to show it off a bit. This bow is flat-out gorgeous. A 1967 Bear Tigercat, Zebrawood with brown glass. There isn't a flaw on this bow and it looks like it was refinished.
It's 62", 50#, RH, with white fiberglass tip overlays. I shot a few arrows from it immediately and it shoots as good as it looks. These old Bears are something.

George, how did you turn that righty into a lefty in the last pic? I remember seeing that bow on the auction site that can not be named.

I fixed it Brent 8^)...it was a photobucket anomaly. It looks fat in that last photo but it's not. Some pretty zebrawood. I'm taking her to the woods in about ten minutes 8^).
I still have your address Brent and will be sending you something in the next few weeks. Don't worry, it won't hurt ya'. ;)

They shoot nice. Love them old Bear bows.

That is one sexy bow. A stunning piece of Zebra wood.

I once had one with the zebrawood handle, only 35#. Wish I would have kept it.

Dandy looking bow George. My son got one from his grandpa (given to him by his dad)who lived near Grayling at the time. It's a 1970 Tigercat with the rosewood handle. Limbs have yellowed, but it's a nice shooter. Those old Bear recurves are just plain fun and nostalgic.
