Took the day of work today and after the Turkeys made a fool of me I headed to the swamp for some pig hunting. Got on two sows and a good boar and followed them a while passing shots on the sows wanting to shoot the boar. I usually only kill meat pigs and don`t care to eat the big boars but I have seen this one a few times and was kinda after`em. Well they went in a thicket and I could not keep up with them cause the leaves were to dry to move fast. My hunting buddy Chris "landshark 160" came in and we made a big loop in the swamp and only saw a Turkey. We sat by the river and watched some drunk fishermen setting limblines and after a laugh headed through the swamp for some pork.
Well we got on these forty-pounders and Chris being the trophy hunter he is let one go. A pig this size don`t hang of my grill so I gaffed`em.
Chris has pics when he gets home he will post`em.RC
CONGRATS RC
Good-oh, RC!
Kill'em and Grill'em RC. Good'n tender!
Way to go RC!
Take the opportunity given. Even watching drunks setting limblines. I had the chance to do that once near Table Rock Lake. That's almost as much fun as fishin' yourself.
Way to go RC. I hope to share a camp with you one day.

That Hill bow ain't nothin' but death and destruction.
Nice one ;)
I've heard talk about feral hogs taking the place of the gray wolf on the endangered species list - certainly true when you are around! You hunting the Chick?
Man, I got to get caught up! My freezer is getting empty. I'm hunting Wed morning down here. Let me know if you want to go.
When will the carnage stop :scared: Hopefully never  I love your porker stories, keep up the good work.
