im guessing 70-71
I'm thinking 1970 as well.
Pic of coin?
I opened this thread expecting light hearted banter about the title. :goldtooth:
Roy...
Must be something about that Roy name.
But I thought the same thing.
Those are the bear facts:)
LOL
Roy
Most Grizzlies folks get their hands on are 58" versions. The first bow I bought, back in 1971 was a 56" Grizzly. I bought it at a shop called "TruFlight" near Monticello, Indiana. I paid $60 bucks brand new.
Now, about that dating question....Most DNRs have a Smokey costume they use at public functions to promote woodland fire safety. I'd check into borrowing one of those but you can count on loosing your deposit. (Sorry, can't help myself.)
Those Duluth clothing commercials also come to mind. Bear naked, this and that.....
I thought dating a grizzly once, then I thought better of it. Decided I like my head .
datein a grizzly aint so bad once ya get by the smell!
I married one !!
56" Grizzlys made out of Shedua were only made in 1969 and 1970. You can narrow it down with a brass coin in 1969 and an aluminum or nickel-silver standing bear coin in 1970.
Great looking little bow👌👌

Just make sure you get her home on time. Wouldn't want her dad mad at you.
I married a grizzly bear too.
She is Italian / Irish and has a temper:)
I try not to whizz her off..
Lot's of funny guys around here! :jumper:
56", KR serial number, maple stripe down riser, and coin all indicate 1970. Nice looking bow!
Oooooh you're talking about a bow.....frankly, I feel a little let down. That grizzly is a looker though, good luck with her.
