What do you guys like? I mostly use a Small Fry but it still moves around a good bit. Thanks. Bill

If my bow had limb bolts I prefer the Great Northern takedown version. If I have amo sight holes I prefer Tight Spot.
-
Depends if you intend to leave it on or not while hunting. I love my EFA but it’s Velcro straps are good if left on.

I prefer the Thunderhorn small fry. Mine doesn't move when I get it put on.

I build a 2, 3 and 4 arrow quiver that stays right where you put it!

I was never a big fan of bow quivers until I started using my 2-Lite strap on bow quiver. Then I came out with the 3 arrow model pictured above so that is what I carry on a couple of my bows. For guys that shoot a 3 or 4 blade broadhead I now offer the hooded quiver with broadhead foam in either a 3 arrow or 4 arrow model.

Very nice, solid design. I’ve not heard how long rubber straps last before starting to dry rot. Any idea? I know keeping indoors and cool helps.

Great Northern strap on for me.
-
I love my Selway on my longbow.
-
Can’t hardly beat a Great Northern quiver! I am currently using the Sidekick model, but also have a couple of the quick detach models!

I'm not a big fan of bow quivers, but I have a Kanati strap that stays put on the occasions when I do need a bow quiver.
-
EFA and thunderhorn. Followed by GN and Kwikee.
-
I don't like shooting with a quiver on but can when I need to and do well. I don't like all those feathers moving when I'm getting ready for the shot. So I use a GN strap on and take it off in the stand.
-
Thunderhorn lynx with the small fry hood.
-
I've tried them all and for me it's Absolutely Great Northern with the straight arrow gripper. Quiet, solid and a bullet proof design. I really like the Quick Detach option too.
-
Another one for Great Northern.....I have both the limb bolt attachment and strap on styles.
-
Bear Archery 7 arrow bolted to the bow. Solid, quiet, and reasonably priced. I like the Thunderhorns as well.
-
I like GN and Eagles Flight.I love lightweight quivers that balance well on the bow and are not cumbersome.Eagles flight is the lightest I have had.I have been through every quiver on the market over the years
I like the quiver to sit very close to the riser for balance.Eagles Flight probably sits the closest to the riser that you get a strap on bowquiver to be.I think the GN strap on fits about as tight as you could get with their rubber strap securement.Tighter than the Eagles flight my opinion.I know how to mount my eagles flights though with their talon grip and have no problems and use them on all my bows.
I like Great Northerns adjustable model. Its very versatile since it adjusts in length to fit short and longer risers. Both G.N and Eagles Flight have many options to choose from.
My favorite Eagles flight is thier 4 arrow hood and I put a 3 arrow gripper on it.I love that setup for my personell tastes.Plenty of broadhead clearance and only 3 arrows to keep the overall weight of the bow down.Minimalist mentality for me.Unless you think you need more than 3 arrows and then get 4 arrow gripper. You dont need more than 3 right?Since your a dead eye:)

I have always used the thunderhorn mini boa with great results but I just purchased a widow PL that has the kwikee quiver inserts holes and was wondering what the best quiver would be to utilize those existing inserts. Everything that I’ve seen looks too modern, like it belongs on a compound bow. Not a fan. I really like the look of eagle flight archery’s stuff. Maybe they could fabricate something to work? Anyone have these same inserts that wants to share what quiver they like best?
-
I prefer having a small bow quiver on all my bows. The mounting system typically works great as a vibration dampener (and as long as it is close to the riser, I find it hardly affects performance) and I love having the arrow that I’m about to shoot “right there”.
My favorite is the Eagle’s Flight 2 arrow quiver. However, my set up is to get the most enjoyment out of 3D. I have my primary and extra (non-scoring mulligan or fun shot) on my bow and that is typically all I need. For insurance, and for the practice range, I also carry a side stalker type quiver with a bunch of extra arrows.

Anyone ever have the feathers rub their leg and make noise with the bow mounted quivers??
-
I don't really know why your bow quiver would be touching your leg.
-
Anyone ever have the feathers rub their leg and make noise with the bow mounted quivers??
No - a simple, home-made fletching cover stops any noise from clothing or brush. Also covers up the white or bright fletching and cap dip. Made mine from a piece cut from a $2.50 blanket from Walmart, 2 shoe strings, and a small piece of velcro.
And I use a Big Jim's quiver with the kick-back, and it is solid and quiet. My next will be EFA, after seeing them in person and in action on several friends' bows.
-
Great Northern limb bolt takedown mount. Solid and if you want to remove it only takes seconds.
-
i tend to mix & match...an efa hood with a selway arrow gripper, but i also have a couple gn strap on models for my short bows
-
I have a Great Northern strap on quiver on one bow an Eagles flight strap on quiver on another bow and a Big Jim's side stalker quiver and really like them all.
-
Great northern for me also. I use the ILF limb bolt qd model and it's awesome, no ratling and arrows stay in tight. I use an fletching cover while hunting that I attach to the lower strut on the quiver.
-
Great Northern Kickback Extreme... Wont ever use another quiver again.
-
BigJims ! BIgJims! BigJIms! Just sayin... :bigsmyl:

I love my Selway I have owned just about their models but the quick detach is my favorite.
