Title: carbon tuning question for new longbow
Post by: brackshooter on March 29, 2008, 12:34:00 PM
I just aquired a wes wallace Royal long bow, 55#@28", 66" long, I draw it to about 30", so about 61# at my draw.  Had some 31.5" 340s, and even with 250 up front they were bareshafting stiff.  Got some 400s cut to the same length, and was wondering what point weight i should use.  Its snowing outside right now (!), so no chance to try them out yet.

thanks

The 400 that long should tune well with 225-275 out of that bow. Ya may get away with the lower end of that. Shawn
