I believe that you have a 1975 on your hands. My recollection is that 1976 had green overlays and green tips. 1974 had white overlays and white tips with the single patent.

I agree it is a 1975. 1976 had green and blue/purple riser overlays.

Thanks guys, it is a little tricky navigating through subtle changes on these old bows, especially when serial numbers dont help or real good records were not kept.

I recently got a minty condition ’76: green and blue/purple riser overlays. Interestingly, this bow has no medallion…*no* medallion. Anybody else?

My 1976 Super Kodiak was the same way. In those years the coin was plastic with a pin that pushed into a 3/16 or so diameter hole. My bow had factory quiver mounts, the upper of which utilized the hole reserved for the coin. Does your bow have bushings?

No HoBow, my '76 K-Mag has no holes or bushings, its clean as a whistle. Thanks for the interesting info on your Super-K.
