Title: Takedown Bow Experiment
Post by: Wolftrail on November 18, 2018, 03:11:56 PM
"Frankenstein Creation"

This bow has 2 different limbs made from wood. The sister limbs broke so I kept the survivors and decided to build this creation.
Its 64" NTN and pulls 38# @ 28. Maple is used mostly. The bottom limb is about 1" shorter having 3 lams with a 14" power lam, the belly is yew and the center lam is black walnut. The top limb is 2 lams of maple. It shoots really well, great cast and does not stack. It just proves that a unsymmetrical bow can perform well.
