Title: Love hate relationship.
Post by: Junction hunter on March 29, 2008, 08:30:00 AM
I LOVE shooting my bow. Do it every night after work. It sure clears the mind.
On the other hand I get more frustrated trying to perfect my shot than anything else I have ever done/do. I love it!!! Or do I? I for sure am an bowaholic

For me, the fun is first, perfecting the technicals second. Then again, I use the other side of my brain, the artsy-fartsy side, and accept personal imperfections fairly easily. Forty-three years at it, and still not perfect. At least there is some excuse to keep working at it!

Have fun. That is what brought you to it in the first place.

Killy is right, even though I get caught-up in it too.

tuning can drive you nuts if ya let it. but I have figured it out. I just keep making my feathers longer. Geez.. last time I made a long shot on a Tree Rat 2 turkey hunters blasted my arrow. I cant speak for others, but the reason I use trad gear was to get away from all the worries. enjoy man.
