Ok guys and gals, the bow is done and will be shipped out tomorrow morning to Bisch to get this thing started!!
Remember,, please post your thoughts and pics of your time with her! Also remember you have approximately 2 weeks to get her to the next person in line. Let's help each other keep in contact so we can keep this thing moving along. I'll post the list of names to this thread ASAP so that will help out too.
This bow is a 62" 3 piece and ended up 45#@28".
Was shooting for 47-48 but it's the way it is. Should still be plenty of weight for everyone to hunt with and still be comfortable for those not preferring a heavy bow.
Here's a few pics for your enjoyment till you get your turn!
Walnut Burl riser with a hidden g10 I beam, myrtle Burl veneers, and aoudad overlays! Enjoy! The only thing I wish I had of done differently was to take one extra day to fill the grain in the riser better, but I was in a bit of a rush meet the deadline I set for myself! :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
Looks great and it's an ideal weight, just wish it was left handed.
Beautiful bow! Can't wait to try it out.

That particular piece of walnut Burl came from Big jim. I had another bow I was working on a while back and ran out and he gave me a heck of a deal on that piece to finish the bow I was working on and I had plenty left to do this one. The veneers came from Mike at the Rose Wood Shop. I also buy some stuff from Kenny M every now and then too!
I do buy other various stuff on line and process myself but you gotta make sure it's dry before you can use it. Sometimes takes years. When I'm in need of something ASAP I can rely on Big Jim, Kenny, and Mike to hook me up!
:o. That is a looker! I can't wait to see it in person and get to shoot it! Awesome work

You guys that did not get on the list missed a real treat,Randy builds a beautiful bow that shoots as good as it looks in my opinion.
Terry
I got the bow today! Man, what a beauty! On the first shot, I noticed this to be one of the quietest bows I have ever shot! Within 10 minutes of shooting, with zero tuning, I was getting groups like this:
Over the next hour, it went like this:

All with zero tuning. I never checked or set the brace height or nock point.
I sure hope my broadheads do the same thing!!!!
Now for the bad news! The passaround has got to end right here, as don't want to let this one go!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Just Kidding!!!

I should have got on the list , it is sure a looker....

I'm using an Easton Full Metal Jacket, .400 spine, 31.5" long, 3-4" parabolic feathers, 75gr brass insert, and 150gr point.
I have a 29" draw length.
Bisch
Well, she just passed the broadhead test. Looks like it's a go for a hunt tomorrow!!!

I'd love to have my hands on this bow for my trip to Kansas!
Well, I'm in a blind with this longbow this afternoon! Wish me luck!!!!
Bisch
Shoot um bud! That is one heck of a good lookin bow...
It wasn't meant to be this afternoon! I had 3 different does under 10yds at one point or another. One had a real young fawn. I could have shot her, but felt she needed to stay around to raise her youngun!!!! The other 2 never would get "right", or what I call the "dead deer position". So, no shots taken today. Maybe tomorrow!!!!!
When I got back to the house, I set my chair 9yds from my bag target and stacked 3 arrows right in the spot I was looking at!
Bisch
Good hunting tomorrow.

Came close this morning! Had tension on the string, but never drew back. It is like these deer can sense that there is a Primal Tech nearby, and so they know to not turn sideways!!!!! [emoji38][emoji38][emoji38]

That is a cool bow. You'll get something before it's said and done Bisch.
Back in the blind for the rest of the afternoon. If I can't get a shot off here today, I'm probably going to move to a different setup for my next try!

Bisch

Not looking good today! I was covered up this time yesterday, and there is not a single deer here tonight!
Bisch
Well, had a couple scrubby bucks and the same doe with the little fawn that I passed yesterday come in right before dark. I could have shot her again, but just couldn't do it!!!! That fawn is just to tiny.
Anyway, if I can make myself get up in the morning, I'm gonna try a different stand and see how it goes there.
Bisch
Good things come to those who wait, Bisch...
Today's the day...
It's just a matter of time. Good luck Bisch!!

Bow arrived at the office this morning! Locked up tight in a wooden box with about 20 wood screws in it. Postal service is gonna have a really hard time hurting this thing lol.
Came home early to do a little test and tune. Unboxed it, set the brace at 8", checked my nock point height, threw on a quiver and started shooting. Started out with a 30" Easton Axis Traditional with standard 11gr insert, 200gr point, and 10gr VPA collar. Here's a few of my first few groups at 12 yards.
(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181017/c7bfa9fcae8618cbdc31e8f4843becc6.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181017/caf15e4574e7b78b089444e70cea1417.jpg)
Very happy with how it shot out of the box. The grip is very comfortable, easily repeatable, and the right height for me.
Unfortunately those arrows ended up being a bit too stiff even after moving up to a 300gr point. I have a 29" draw like Bisch but I had to go to a little weaker arrow than him. Ended up pulling out some CX Pile Drivers I had sitting around that were 250(.400) spine and full length. I threw on a standard HIT insert with a 60gr ethics archery steel collar and 200gr point for a total arrow weight of 590gr. Quite heavy but I'm quite happy with the arrow flight and speed considering the arrow weight so I'll be sticking to this setup for hunting.
Here's a few pics of the bow strung up for everyone. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181017/908cdd4c329175ba5814da4291c048a8.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181017/4d58a7c26c90374a6eaaf21b44a7bed1.jpg)
Randy did a great job with this bow. Beautiful woods, great attention to detail, smooth draw, good speed, with a very nice fit and finish. I will also say this has gotta be one of the quieter bows I've shot, not sure if it's just the heavy arrow weight but I don't think the animals are gonna hear anything coming, which is nice.
I'll keep everyone updated on how the hunting goes. Hoping to head out this weekend and chase some pigs and deer.

Well James?
How did the hunt go?
Sorry for not getting back to y'all sooner! Only had a chance to sit out once so far. Gonna get back out there this weekend.
First sit could have gone better. I had a big group of toms come in and i couldn't resist flinging an arrow. Unfortunately I zipped one through one that gave me a clear shot. Got out to grab my arrow and see if there was any blood. Unfortunately, nothing but guts. I hate wounding animals so this really sucked. But they are a small target and this happens so i got back in the blind for another hour. After about 30 minutes I had a couple pigs starting making their way in and had a small black and white pig feed towards my shooting lane. Unfortunately I had another big black pig on the other side of that obviously didn't like something he smelled and was making enough noise to eventually spook them both.
Never saw a deer like I was hoping for but I'll get back out there Friday or Saturday before the bow goes to the next guy and hopefully I'll put something down.

Good luck, James!!!!!

Checking back in. I did not have time to go hunting this weekend as I was dealing with some girlfriend troubles. Looks like I'm not gonna be the first to draw blood with this bow. I've enjoyed my time with it and after I sell the many bows on the rack which don't get enough love, then I will probably buy a custom for myself. Just wanna say thanks to Randy for doing this, it's really nice to get to spend some time with a bow like this instead of having to spend the money for a new one and hope for the best.

Ok guys, sorry I havnt been on here much. Been really busy. Anyways something has come up. Tony was next in line but for personal reasons he has had to decline his time with the bow and it will be going to to the next person in line as long as their ok with the time frame. I will send BDann a pm and see if we can keep the bow going.
Also, I will get an update on the name suggestions ASAP!
Ok guy and gals, we've got things worked out, (I think lol) BDann is going to receive the bow a little early to hopefully accommodate his planned hunt in Kansas. He will be shipping the bow to the next recipient upon his return and be putting us back on schedule. He will be keeping the bow a little longer than 2 weeks but considering the circumstances I would recommend the same for anyone else in line if it were your time. I didn't try to move everyone up a few weeks because I know there are some that have trips scheduled that coincides with their time with the bow. I hope this is acceptable for everyone.
Ps.. I still need to update the list of bow names!!
I received the bow this afternoon, and immediately unpacked it and put it together. I had no problem tuning it for my arrows, just a little adjustment to the brace height and nocking points. It is a very quiet bow, like the others have said and it is beautiful. I'm out hunting with it right now, hoping to fill a tag with it.
Just thought I'd bring this back to the top just to keep everyone up to date.

Add Primitive Passion to the list...
At this point I've put several hundred arrows through this bow and I am loving it. The grip is the most comfortable that I have ever experienced, and the bow is so quiet! I have been able to shoot 400 spine gt's (518 grain, full length), and 340 spine (580 grain, full length) without any appreciable difference. She will take a road trip to Kansas with me next week for another try at a nice buck I've been seeing on my cameras, and then I guess I'll have to relinquish her to the next guy on the list. Randy and I have been planning out my order, which will happen very soon!
Good luck bud!!
I'm a little jealous, I've always wanted to hunt Kansas!
I managed to take this young buck on Thanksgiving Day with the sweet Primal Tech. I was trying to hold out for a big one, but this guy kept coming around and tempting me. Now I'll try for a doe!

Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
My time with this bow is over. Unfortunately I did not get to hunt with her due to firearms season, weather, work and family commitments.
I did get to shoot it quite a bit though. It is a very easy bow to tune. All I did was basically set the nock height and was able to shoot several different spine arrows out of it and they all flew great with just adjusting point weight.
The bow is exceptionally quiet and well mannered. The grip is very nice. No adjustment period required for me. Just started shooting and hit right where I was looking. The bow has a very nice balance/point ability.
My chronograph isn't working, but the bow appeared very quick.
My only criticism is one that Randy already commented on. There were a few spots on the riser that could have been filled a little bit more during the finish process, but he was rushing to get the bow in our hands. I doubt that will happen on an ordered bow.
Overall a VERY NICE BOW. Thanks again to Randy for the opportunity to shoot one of his bows.
Glad you enjoyed your time Glenn!!
And thank you for the review!!
Bow is on its way to Dresnor!!
Good luck Jeremy!!
The bow just arrived. It is beautiful, light, and has a great grip. Going to set it up and take pictures. It is snowing right now so I am not sure how much shooting will be done today. Might try to get some rabbits with it next weekend.
What brace height did this bow like?
Jeremy
I set it up with an 8" brace height, seemed to work well.
I had time to take some pictures after the snow stopped. I also got to shoot it a bit.
I am new to traditional archery. But this bow shot well for me at 10-15 yards. I will post my thoughts after I shoot it some more.
This thread needs more pics so here we go.

Jeremy thanks for the pictures. Great looking bow!
Some really great pics Jeremy!!! Hope you enjoy your time with it!
Purty darn nice..
It is sad to say, but my time with this bow is over. It will be shipped out today to Basinboy.
I did a short video review if anyone is interested. I am not the best archer or videographer. Just wanted to give Randy some press so to speak.
Let me know what you think.

Can't wait to get it! Couldn't be better timing either, I'm off for 21 days starting Thursday to chase Louisiana rutting bucks! :archer2: :archer2: :archer2:
The Pass around bow arrived on Thursday! I strung it up right away and went shoot 3 arrows at 12 yards. They were a little bit right of where I was looking but all 3 were touching :scared:
The bow has no hand shock and is very quiet. A real piece of art work I tell ya.
I tuned it up and Friday headed north to the hunting grounds.
My 3rd Hunt this morning I had 3 hogs run in to feed on acorns. Only two left :bigsmyl:

What a great start to this fine Primal Tech bow currently making the 'rounds'.
Got me thinking about this as a possible name: The Rounder.
In poker a Rounder is defined as a Grinder. A Rounder is synonymous with a grinder. These are players who make their living or a significant amount of their income from playing poker. They tend to play mid or low stakes games and win money bit by bit. Rounding is often considered to be a difficult way to make money because rounders tend to not make much money per hour.
As a bow, The Rounder symbolizes its owner, the hunter who often grinds out the season looking to score big on the best critter(s) crossing his path. It symbolizes the hours and days spent in the hands of the owner developing the perfect relationship needed to score in the heat of the moment at the big game. Appears the several archers who have already been fortunate enough to shoot this fine bow all wish they could keep it 'round' a tad longer.
After making its 'rounds', it's possible Randy may use some of the input from the various shooters to refine this nice stick even further.
Well the hogs find me anywhere I setup :dunno: found an oak dropping acorns with a rub and scrape nearby as well as a bunch of hog dung. I setup for the evening hunt around 1pm. Shortly after two does pass along a ridge out of range. About 45 minutes before dark hogs start coming in. I watched them feed on the far side of the tree. It's very thick with young oaks there and hard to get a clear shot so I had to let the first one that come feeding by go due to no open shot. Wasn't long this boar came in from my right and gave me an opportunity to send a Magnus Classic Single Bevel into its vitals. It was a short 40 yards dash where he crashed into a palmetto :notworthy:
I passed on a couple spike bucks hoping for a decent buck. Does have avoided me :dunno:
This big boar passed just out of range a few days ago...

Congrats Corey. Nice Shot. And dear older gentleman I used to hunt with would always say, "You Know What?" I'd naturally say, "What?" He's always finish with "All around a pig's ass is pork". He must have got me 100 times with that one over the years. He's been gone 6 years now. but the memories of his humor still makes me smile! :goldtooth:

Ok guys, I had to shuffle some names around but I think I got it worked out. The bow is going to Gary Hall next and then will go to forstr then go back to the original line up. I havnt heard from Cmalone so I had to make an executive decision and I will add his name to the end of the list if he still wishes a turn.
Sounds great! I may only get to shoot it in our indoor league as most hunting seasons are over here. Still looking forward to shooting it.
Looking forward to Primal Tech pass around..... :archer2:
My time with the pass around bow is up. I can honestly say it is a fine looking and great shooting bow! I killed two hogs and passed on 4 young bucks all within 15-20 yards. Had a couple does in range, one was spooked by another hunter, the other spotted me in the tree at 12 yards just before entering a hole that I had a clear shot. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this how's journey. Big thanks to Randy and to Mr Terry for this great place for like minded folks to come learn and share. Gary the bow is on its way. Pm me and I'll send the tracking info

Forstr is up next!!
I will be out of town for a week and a half. If y'all don't mind keep in touch with the person before and after you to keep things moving along while I'm gone.
And please don't forget to post your thoughts on the bow. And be honest!! Lol
I'm heading to Florida for a hog hunt next week, but I check in here most everyday.
I'm #12 on the list (up after Jacob).
:archer2:
My wife and grandson picked up the bow Thursday while I was working out of town. Just unpacked and assembled it. Grandson and I going to "shoot ourbows when rain/snow settles down this afternoon. Fletched up some easton axis 400's last week. Will post pics of first shots later this pm. I draw 30.25 inches. Curious if this 45 # drawn to 30.25 will shoot 340's with 175 grain points .
I draw around 31.5" and shot my fmj 340's. I have 50 grain inserts and 145 grain points on, great arrow flight. Total arrow weight is around 580 I think.
Brian,
Interesting. Randy told me he didn't think anyone with a 30+ inch draw had shot the pass around. He is interested to know how it shot at the longer draw lengths. Going out to shoot now and will take a 340 fmj with 150 grain woodsman and see how it does.
Sorry y'all, I've been out of town for a few days and havnt kept up with the thread.
Bdann, that's good to know. How was the draw cycle for you at your dL?
Have fun forster!!!
The draw was smooth all the way, never felt like it stacked . When I buy one though, it will be a 64".
Good deal!!
How goes it forster?
Jbpharmd ( Jacob) will be up next for the bow!!
Please don't forget to post what your thoughts are when you get it!
Dang... This bow has been in the hands of some fantastic archers and already has good blood on it! If only it were wrong handed and I would be trying to give it a whirl! Keep up the good work bud!

Hey guys, I declined to renew my domain with godaddy. I was never happy with that site and very very seldom used it since most of my business is generated from social media. I will be working towards getting some professional help with a new site as time will allow. Been crazy busy as of late with keeping up with orders, trying to work in some stock bows, and working on breaking ground for my new shop. my new shop. I have out grown my current small ship and am I dire need of more adequate space!
Stay tuned!!!
Has anyone heard from Forster? I sent him a couple messages but haven't heard back from him yet.
Haven't seen a post from him in a few days.
A Forester posted today on the other site.
He responded to me by email yesterday. The bow should be on its way to Jacob tomorrow!
Bow arrived yesterday evening and I have it put together. First thought is: this thing is PRETTY...I was able to shoot a few times today before the wind really picked up. It is very quiet. I should have some time tomorrow to play around and see what arrows she likes. I'll keep you guys posted.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well I think I got it figured out. 500 spine trad only with 125gr points, standard inserts, 3x5" fletching seems to do pretty well.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Been blessed with lots of work, travel and non-work busyness so haven't been able to post my impressions on the bow. In short, I really like it!!
I was only able to shoot it three times for about 10 minutes each time. I had some Easton FMJ 400's that I had from test kits and so I did manage to fletch up 3 before the bow arrived, 4 3.5 inch feathers, and they shot well.
But, the 340 Axis traditional and 340 FMJ's, 31.25 inches, seemed to fly a little better.
The bow is quiet, shock free and seems to hit where you look. I pull 30.25 inches and it seemed like it was zipping arrows. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of these bows!!!. Thanks for the chance to try it out.
Further thoughts: Bow grip was easy to adjust to and the light weight in the hand compared to my 3 piece takedown recurve with bow quiver did not seem to affect my shooting.
Wayne (Fnshtr) is up next! He should be receiving the bow any day !
Have fun Wayne!
Anxiously awaiting delivery!

That was my second arrow at 20 yards. :goldtooth:
My first one moved the ball. First thought was how quiet the bow is. I like the grip as I have relatively small hands. (No small hand jokes please :biglaugh:)
I'm shooting Gold Tip Trads 29" long with standard inserts, 125 grain points and 3 shield cut 5" feathers. Not perfect flight but good.
More later.
[attachment=1]
5 shot group from 20 yards. A bit high and right, probably just the difference between my go to bow and this one. I'm happy with that group. Must have short drew on the tennis balls. :dunno:
Wayne, what spine are the goldtips you are using? Randys bow are definitely quiet!!

No ground grizzlies located today. I'll be looking again on Monday. :archer2:

Located my target. This will be an "urban hunt". I live 30 minutes from town, but most of the groundhogs near where I live have been wiped out by a combination of coyotes and local farmers. A few survive by burrowing under barns and outbuildings.
However, I'm a Pastor and the church sets on 6 acres. We have had structural damage in the past due to these city dwelling groundhogs. Most of the damage is in our drainage system. Yesterday I seen one that survived our eradification efforts last year. I personally took 5 off the property. Our neighbor works on the local population with his hunting equipment.
The target groundhog has burrowed under a concrete slab near the corner of our main building. He was out and about at 4 pm yesterday. I'm currently sitting in a pop up blind watching for him to exit his "den".
Wish me luck!

That's Some dang fine shooting right there!!
We have a security camera system at church. I can get on the system from my phone (unfair chase?). I'm convinced that this "marmota monax" is not completely out of hibernation mode. It seems that when the max daily temps hit 65, he's out feeding for about 30 minutes in the late afternoon (his burrow gets the late afternoon sun). The daily max has been around 60 the days he has not shown up on camera.
Tuesday evening I went fishing instead of sitting in the blind. Of course, I got security footage of him that evening within 4 yards of my blind. :banghead:
Presently it's 66* and I'm headed up to try again. He's been coming out about 5:15pm.
[attachment=1]
That was my first shot (cold) from 15 yards this morning.
I am so impressed with this bow! :goldtooth: :archer2:
Well guys, I just couldn't make it happen. :banghead:
Sure wasn't any fault of the bow. In fact, in the week or so that I've had this bow, I've come to the conclusion that I shoot it better than any bow I've ever had in my hands. Our turkey season begins Monday, the 15th. Man I wish I had been down the list one more slot!
I generally shoot recurves, but absolutely love the feel of this bow. And as far as being quiet, that is the first thing my buddies said that shot with me.
My time with her is up. She is shipping out to Flagstaff Arizona today.
Good luck with her Tsosie Taylor, and have fun (I'm sure you will).
With the most common compliment regarding this bow being "it's quiet", I like the name "Primal Whisper".

Got a package(Primal Whisper) yesterday, checked :archer: to make sure everything is in place, and just about ready with the arrows(wood). Just going to put some tips(128g) on the arrows and should be about 540 grains(total). COOL BOW

How's it going with the bow? Any updates for us?
Update....I've been shooting(Roving) the bow for about a week and probably send it off early next week. I'm very please with the way it shoots and have that feel that you have a bow in your hand. Very quiet and little to no hand shock...maybe the weight in the riser have
some to do with it.

After several attempts to contact Dagwood64 without luck, and the fact that I don't have his shipping info or anything else, combined with the fact that he hasn't been on TG since dec 9 2018 I asked SM to forward the bow to the next person in line. ( as long as that is ok with the next in line) )

I believe that Phoenix archer - Paul Hentschel is next in line.
Please PM me a current address sir!

I've been looking forward to this!
Heck if it next week I could drive it down when I head to the deep south of Michigan!
I guess I could wait a few more days.
Nah, I'll mail it this week. I don't want to deprive you of it!
On its way today! Phoenix I sent the tracking in a pm
Received the bow this afternoon. I'll post more after I've had a chance to run some arrows though it.
Hey everyone, sorry I havnt been keeping up with the thread lately. I've been extremely busy!!
I just want to give everyone an update.
Pheonixarcher contacted me today after he received the bow. There are some dings and dents and a spot in the shelf that raise some concerns. So after he sent me some pics I decided to have him send me the bow to better inspect it and do whatever touch ups that are necessary. I will then send it back to him to complete the pass around.
I promise I will get this done quickly as possible and get everyone back to shooting!!!
So I wanted to say a big thank you to Randy for providing a fantastic bow to try out.
A quick review:
Grip- I liked it, a bit fuller than a Stickflinger, a little less rounded than say a Silvertip. Easy to adjust to.
Weight- not that light (think A&H), or heavy. Very nice to carry.
Feel at the draw/shot- Nice smooth draw with an even load. Dead in hand at the release.
Sound- None. Just a whisper lol.
Fit and finish- she had a few marks on her when she got to me, but you can really see Randy's craftsmanship. The bone tips and overlays were beautiful. The wood was fantastic!
I didn't get much of a chance to hunt with her much, and when I did the turkeys didn't cooperate. I did however take it out stumping when my daughter came home from college.
All and all this is a bow I wouldn't hesitate to own. Quiet, balanced and hits where you point it.
If you don't know Randy, he's a class act. Honest, easy to deal with and does great work.
Thank you Randy!

Ok guys, sorry for the delay. I ran out of sealer right in the middle of spraying this bow along with a few others. Bad timing and planning on my part . :banghead:
I just sprayed the final coat of dull this morning and I will Get it boxed up this weekend and ship it out first thing Monday morning. Skeeter should have it sometime next week and we'll get this ball rolling again!
Alrighty Ladies and Gents...
The bow arrived on Saturday and I have to say... it shot lights out right out of the box. Love the feel of this bow in my hand. Had I shot this bow 4 years ago when I was looking for my first custom bow... I likely would not have my Black Widow PCH recurve that has been my goto bow for killing critters since.

This bow needs a name. Whatever that name turns out to be... I am gonna call it "Thumper".
A small story about myself. My handle is swamprabbit because that is the first animal I killed (other than fish). I started hunting in my 30s and a fella from church heard that I was trying to learn to hunt so he took me out to east Texas and we went squirrel hunting. I didnt see a squirrel that morning, but that afternoon, I did see a rabbit. A swamp rabbit. That primordial instinct kicked in and the hunt was on. I had to track it down and shot it with a .22
My nickname/handle for hunting will always be swamprabbit.
I have killed plenty of rabbits with my bow since... I will not pass up a shot on a rabbit.
My new lease has the opprotunity to be a rabbit heaven... but it hasn't panned out. I have seen one or two on trail cams at night only.
This morning as I was walking trails for hogs, I saw some deer and twin fawns... but no pigs.
I decided to check a trail that I had remowed and as I came around the corner, I caught glimpse of something in a tuft of grass.
When it turned its head I knew it was a cotton tail... better yet, a swamp sized cottontail. The bow drew so smooth... I swear I could have been drawing my 4 year old friend (I will have to not tell my greenleaf this story.)
"THUMP!!!!". The arrow hit its mark... the spot between the head and shoulder.

I am not gonna get another chance to hunt with thumper before my time is up... which kinda bums me out... its a sweet shooter for sure and it can drill a rabbit easily at 12-15 yards. Without having shot it but 2 arrows yesterday.

This by far was the most tender rabbit I have eaten.
Thanks Randy for making a critter killer that is so easy to shoot... I could put food on the table after only a few shots out of the box.
Tom Bohl,, your next.
Scott is trying to get in touch with you to send the bow to you.
Ok folks, we are going to skip Tom for the time being and go to Buckeye1977.
Neither Scott nor I have had any luck reaching him.
Received the bow today and got it strung and shot it a couple times. Initial impression is outstanding craftsmanship and really shoots smooth. Gonna try to get out to a 3d shoot next week and see what I can do with it.
Sorry I missed my go with the bow but on vacation with daughters and grandsons at a state park with no TV or phone service-it was wonderful. Hope to still get a chance with this bow.
Good morning Mr. Tom, i got your message over the weekend. Hope you had a great vacation.
I moved your name down to the bottom of the list so you will still get an opportunity to test it out.
There is only one more name on the list before your up again.
I also called this morning and left you a message on your answering machine.
Give me a shout whenever you can.
Thanks everyone!
How's it going Nick?
Sorry I haven't been posting but been really busy. I've shot the bow a little in the yard and have a hard time not hitting the center of my target! This bow is amazing and really fits my style good and was a breeze to tune. I'm planning on shooting 3d with it tomorrow evening to see how I do there and then sadly I'll get it ready to send to the next person. Thanks Randy for the opportunity to shoot one of your works of art!
Well I went to a 3d shoot last night and shot this bow better than any of the ones I've had in quite awhile! Everyone that was there couldn't believe how quiet the bow was and how well it pointed. I'm definitely gonna be sad to see this one go. I want to thank Randy for the opportunity and let him know that he makes an exceptional bow! As soon as I get info on where bow's going next it'll be on its way
Randy- been bad about contacting you but these 11 hour days are kicking my butt. Hope to have a go though with this bow. Thanks in advance, Tom
The bow is on its way to Lonnie (skeaterbait) .
After that it will be Toms turn and this pass around will be all wrapped up!
Awe dang, you mean I have to send it to someone else? I thought I was the last :goldtooth:
The bow got here about a half hour ago and I just happen to be home to sign for it. I am technically working but sure had enough time for about 18 arrows of three different setups. The bow didn't give one lick about the differences, it sent them fast and straight and with authority. My portion of this however is still lacking.
Man what a beauty.
Here is the second round out of the bow. The first four or five shots (low right) were me trying to make myself slow down and do it right, after that fourteen yards is a shoe-in.

I should also mention I didn't have to change the tune at all, it really likes three under.
Same, the bow shot well 3 under for me... and the cut was great for a wide variety of arrows I had.
Thx guys!!
Tom is up next!!
After that the pass around is complete and I will go through all the suggestions for a name for this design and I will announce a winner for the gift card to the TG sponsor of their choosing!
Do you anticipate a round two or are you going to auction it for St. Jude?

Looking forward to taking a turn as our squirrel season opened just opened so stumps and squirrels are on the menu for me. Will let y'all know my impressions. Thanks again for this opportunity Randy.
When the bow is finished with it's circle, I'll send the last guy my address.. :bigsmyl: :bigsmyl:
What a gorgeous bow. I can't seem to stop shooting my primal tech..
OK everyone, I am leaving today to go on an elk hunt. I will be back in two weeks. When I get back I will go through the list of names and announce the winner of the name contest. Thank you all for your participation and support!!
My initial impression opening up the box was what a good looking bow and then when I put it together and shot it and it shoots better than it looks. Took it out today for a stump/squirrel morning- but the squirrels didn't cooperate-but tried to stalk a chipmunk which evaded my intention. The bow shot smoothly at my 29.5" draw and the past center cut allowed useage of various spined arrows-liked my AD trad lites and also some Surewood arrows. Quiet as a church mouse and stable follow through the shot. Would not hesitate buying a quality R/D bow like this one. Thanks to Randy for sending this bow around-it certainly was my pleasure.
