Earlier in the season I got into the high country a few days. No elk were seen.. But I found a crazy busy wallow. Tomorrow I am heading back to the mountains for eight days of hunting. I'll be in a tree stand 18yards from that wallow every other afternoon/evening. The aspen colors should be perfect and the elk should be in the rut
Good luck every one.
Joe
Sounds promising, nothing like an elk wallow for excitement, good luck.
Good luck to ya! I hope the elk cooperate and your arrow flies true :archer2:
Good luck!!!!

Good luck Joe, looking forward to updates!
Well the elk season is over here in Colorado. I saw no elk. Still it was fun being in the high country during Sept. Warm days, afternoon showers, cool nights, frosted mornings. Yellow aspen groves.
the anticipation of bugling bulls, maybe a cow would walk by. Love Colo bowseason.
...next year.. Maybe next year..
Joe
The next season started the day this past season ended. I'm looking forward to it already.
Hunts are like days, they are all good, some are just better than others. Time in the wilds is never wasted. Good luck next time. :shaka:
