Title: Dan Toelke
Post by: scot52075 on August 31, 2018, 07:12:13 PM
Dan made me a two piece Super D and I couldn't be happier.  This bow will be perfect for backpack hunting, so quiet, accurate and smooth.

I always wanted to try one of these! I love the bow bolt, it's the absolute best tale down system to me!

He basically just does it on request now.  He wasn't selling enough of them in 2pc to justify listing it as a regular option, since most Hill type guys just go for a 1pc.

The Super D is a longbow's longbow.  Just a damn fun bow to shoot.  Whisper quiet, just a bit lively, easy to point and quick enough to get things done.

The two piece is just the icing on the cake, I would love this bow as a one piece.  I went up 2# from my whip and i see no difference performance wise between them. My whip is 60'' and the D is 64" and I see that in accuracy past 30 yards.  Ive owned a lot of bows and I'd put Dans up against any of them that I have owned.  Didn't even mentioned it was delivered three weeks after I ordered it.

What a beauty! That and the Troll are the only Toelkes we don't have. Probably going to buy one, one of these days to give it a try!
