This is a bow that I and my 15 year old grandson started for him months ago. It's been hanging fire for a long time. I wanted to keep him involved right up to the end but it's been difficult to get him here with family activities, football practice and his ever broadening social life. So better that it be done and being shot than sitting unfinished.
Specs:
1. 60" ntn
2. 47# @28" (he draws 26" now but is growing like a weed)
3. Bubinga riser
4. Maple cores
5. Curly English sycamore belly (I thought it would turn darker under the glass)
6. Curly Etimoe back
7. Overlays same as veneers (won't use such thin stuff again for overlays. Very difficult to get good glue lines)
8. Tip overlays bubinga with a cap of wenge.

I want to try some sapelle. I'm going to do one more clear glass build and then play for a bit with colored glass.
Forgot to mention stabilcore on the belly side.
