That looks great ! I can't make my self paint my customs all though I love the camo colors. I will sometimes put camo tape on them though. Nice job

I just finished camp painting my old recurve. I hunt from the ground and it's an el cheapo bow with black limbs, so I figure it might help, and it definitely wont hurt!

I used a very simple but effective pattern to camouflage several bows. I used green, brown, tan, and grey spray paints. I sprayed one side of the bow in sections of 6 or 8 inches, alternating the colors. Then on the other side I did the same thing using a different alignment of the colors. This simplistic approach causes the bow to disappear and only takes a few minutes. I used one of the hunting related brands of paint that is supposed to easily come off with their paint remover. That part of the scheme didn't work so well.

That looks fantastic! I just did one last week - turned out good, but not as slick as yours. I used the flexible gutter guard to create the pattern.

I just did my bow with camo duct tape. Turned out so well I plan on doing another one. I have no problem covering black glass limbs. I never did care for them.

A rattle can is much easier to obtain than a rattle snake... I'll stick to paint.

What kind of bow is that?

Mine? It is a Hoyt Tiburon. It is essentially a Hoyt Buffalo with a bridge to stiffen it up. It is where a hunting bow meets a target bow.
