Good morning everyone, I'm looking to replace/upgrade the factory string on my Montana longbow. I'd prefer to buy one from a TG member, some suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

thank you!
I'm sure they all make great strings but I've dealt with sbd and ten ring and they did awesome for me!
I have used all of the above. They were all very good. Good guys to deal with and they stand behind their product.
Really love the Ten Ring Strings I just got.
Ten Ring Strings for me too, they're great.
All of the above listed will serve you well,I replaced the string on my Montana with an SBB and it made a world of difference,I rounded off the handle and arrow shelf and reduced the tips ,put on a beaver tail grip it's like a completely different bow, shoots as good as any I,ve owned.
All of those mentioned will serve you well. chad is a walking encyclopedia of string material. Sooner or later your going to want to try making your own. Might as well get it over with.
Allen at ten ring strings can't beat his strings along with his customer service!! :archer2:
60X strings
Above mentioned make quality strings. Real question is what material to use for your string.
I'm so new to the trad gear that I don't know what material would be better! I'm really just looking to improve over the stock string
The build will make as much or more difference than the material. I prefer BCY-X myself. Very quiet and stable. FWIW, Bear sends them out with a Dynaflight '97 string. Good material, but again...the build makes a difference.
