Just a newbie kind of looking around a little.
I've never shot traditional. Nearest to it was the first bow I owned. It was a bear whitetail hunter I shot bare bow for a year or so. I've sort of been interested just not enough I guess.
My wife did attend a work shop at Friendship a couple of days and made her own bow there that she shoots once in a while but not a whole lot.
I guess I'm just being nosey and snooping around to see what I like.
I do deer and turkey hunt with bow and gun.
Hi there. Hap
G'day Richard!
Keep snooping, but be warned that it is addictive for some personality-types! Seriously, I hope you get to give the bow-and-arrow a real good go, maybe by meeting up with some archers in your area.
All the best,
Ben
You're from Indiana, I see. That's where 3RiversArchery is based. They're a heck of a good mob there, very helpful even to us internationals, and if it's not too far for you to drive, they'd be happy to see you and help you with any gear or questions.
Welcome Richard---Tis a good place to be. Bruce
:wavey: Howdy!
Welcome Richard! Be careful around here though...this traditional bowhunting/archery bug is highly contagious and thankfully, there is no known cure.
