Hey,
I am thinking of buying a Black Widow PL X bow. Would like to see pictures of what is out there, and opinion of how they perform.
Thank you,
Warren
I don't have a picture of one, but I can tell you I love them better than any longbow I've ever shot, and I've shot most all the nicer ones... It is a longbow though, and longbows tell off on me more than a recurve, when my form isn't perfect... Blessings
selfbow, you own it to yourself to do the test drive option. I am a huge fan of BW's recurves. I owned a PLV for a short time and could never shoot it consistently. This isn't unique to the widow, however, I have this problem with most longbows (I always blame the grip, lol). The bow looked very nice, just wasn't for me. I'd definitely do the demo program before putting out that kind of money. Just my $.02...Mike
I'm very pleased with mine. I've had two, but sold one. Here is a link that shows my bow in action last year:

Here's a photo of my PLX in bocote:

If you do a search in PowWow for Black Widow longbows, you'll come-up with heaps of information.

Here is a picture of my PLGA.

Anybody with a short (54" or 56") PSR while strung up? Would like to see the profile.
Here is my cocobola BW LX Takedown. You can get a PL with the old grip if you like it. I do, but chose to buy a slightly used bow. It is perfect and without a mark. It has bamboo limb cores and antler tips which is something I have never seen on any BW bow.

Sure would like to see them make a 3pc, I wish I wish.
Hi SWP, How do you like that quiver? Warren
Love it! Very balanced, holds arrows great, quietens my bow when arrows are added. Don't know why BW doesn't sell more of them than they do.
I think I know why they don't sell more of those quivers, but I'm too polite to venture my opinion... ;)
Ben,
I know what your thinking...I have a BW on the way and i like a bow quiver. I gathered as much info as I could and ordered.......a Gambler.
G'day Jim! I really shouldn't have been so cheeky! The gear that a bowhunter chooses should be respected. All the best with both the bow and the quiver, and I hope you can put many wonderful animals on the ground! Cheers, Ben :coffee:
