You know the bow, its the one you keep going back to. Even after you spent all that money on a new custom bow. Mine is a 64" 65lb Dwyer longbow. No matter how many bows I trade or buy I keep going back to this one. I know it has a bit more hand shock than a recurve or a hybrid, and its a bit longer than a lot of bows, but I sure do love to shoot it. I killed 5 deer with that bow last year. Im just curious what bow do you keep going back to. Post some pictures if you have them. Here is a picture of my treasured stick.....I never get tired of looking at this picture.

Slayer1 GREAT PIC Thanks for sharing  :campfire:
I had one like that....once. :knothead:
It was a 60" 59@28 Chaparral Alpine Deluxe. I sold it to a fellow Trad Ganger and would love to get it back.
I came real close to selling this one. I sure am glad it didnt work out. Shes not a speed deamon, but she sure is quiet, and drives an arrow hard through a critter...LOL
My favorite go to bow is a Shrew Classic Hunter 54" 55@29 and a shooter for sure!
The other bows are gathering cob webs. This is my 50# ACS CX-the only other bow I shoot is my 49# ACS CX.

Windstorm longbow. Just had the weight dropped 10# and refinished. It just fits right and is dependable even when I am not.
Nice Deer! I'll bet that got your heart going when he stepped out.
Yes, I keep going back to my first bow. It's a 60" Black Widow, PSA. I've tried other very nice bows that are lighter to carry and shorter. She just feels like an old couch. Most likely because of all bad shooting habits I developed and broke with it. No pictures, I don't use a camera much.
5 deer = don't fix what ain't broke ;)
I ain't saying nothing about no bow like that , JC will get mad at me for bringing it back up. NO NO NO I ain't gonna do it!!! :banghead:
And then I'll have to kick you fer sellin it, and me fer not buying it! :knothead:

Funny thing about that deer is I shot it at 10 feet out of a ground blind. It was my first deer from the ground. It took almost an hour before I could stop shaking enough to unzip the blind :biglaugh:
My Fred Bear t/d; 60 inch recurve, 65# @ 28.

That would be "Timex"(62@28 56" Kwyk Styk)...and the latest critter to fall to this bow that was built for me back in '97 by Jack Kempf.....

I always take my Shafer Silvertip when there is serious huntin to be done.
Gettin' close I think...
I don't have that "one" bow yet, but I have narrowed it down to 2. ;) My Silvertip and my Widow PAX. They both shoot great!! I have some tough decisions to make before hunting season starts.

iguess it would have to be my allegheny super mountain bow 60" 48# @28" i do have two others a bob sarells and a robert painter bow but i keep going back to my allegheny :biglaugh:
Yeah, my Wes Wallace Mentor takedown recurve. I keep trying other stuff, don't know why. Wish I had spent all that money on more Mentors. Just a solid, good-shooting, good-looking bow built by a stand-up guy.
Maybe one day. :D

Harold Couch T/D LB 62" 45@28...soon to be 55@28 too!
It just fits...difficult to explain. Dead quiet and hits where I look. I won this bow at JLMBH 07...doubt I will ever give it up.
:D not yet.... found out the one I really like isn't made anymore but I am keeping my fingers crossed on the other one :saywhat: Although I am new here I am gonna have to blame MYSHOOTINSTINKS for this :biglaugh:
Yea its a 64" Brackenbury Legend. Macasar riser and Zebra limbs. 58# @ 29.5" and I still have it and always will.
Have since bought three more bows and none of them compare. This thing just seems to put em where they are supposed to go.

Yep, my recently aquired 58" Lee Signature Hunter. I bought this bow stock but they might as well have measured my hand & draw length as it fits and shoots perfectly. After shooting it a couple weeks or so I sold three bows and the rest on the rack (with the exception of a 60" CM H2 for backup) are on the bubble...
For me it would be my Frank SanMarco longbow 69" 80# at 28". Love this beautiful graceful deep cored bow.
