Title: late season ohio whitetails
Post by: LITTLEBIGMAN on June 21, 2018, 08:31:27 PM
hey Ohio tradgangers! I am thinking of putting together a late season hunt there in your fine state. But I can't find some answers to some basic non resident questions. The Ohio DNR web site is not helping me so I thought I would ask the experts.

tions. My season ends 12/31 and I am always looking to extend my hunting opportunities and adventures.
thanks in advance

Here are my questions.

1.can a non res purchase a bow tag over the counter or is it a quota type draw?
2.if over the counter what is the latest date it is available for purchase?

It is over the counter. Ohio doesn't differentiate tag wise between gun and bow season. A non resident license and deer tag is valid all season long. And you can purchase right up to the last day of season.

Yep, last day is usually the first weekend of February
