My hunting pal from across the ridge has been bitten by the primitive bug. He has just knapped his first flint head and attached it to a multi-flora rose shoot shaft.
Dan Feaster just got into traditional archery abour four years ago and has taken several deer with his recurve. He's shooting a Northern Mist longbow right now and working on rock piles and shoots and is having the time of his life. If he is any indication of the future of traditional archery, we are in good hands.
Here's a photo of his flint broadhead and another of the rose shoot arrow.

WOW, that looks great. Pretty awesome for a first head.
I am just about to start knapping myself and hope my first is half as good as that one.
