Post by: T.L on February 10, 2007, 10:10:00 AM
Hello all.
Has anyone tried this sharpener, it looks like their version of the Accusharp. Just curious if it is any good.
thanks,
 Tom.

Tom,

I have never tried that sharpener, but I do use the lansky knife sharpener to sharpen my broadheads.  In the How-To section here, there is a how-to I did with pics and video.  With my lansky I can put a shaving edge on anything.

I use a lansky sharpener on all my broadheads and it does a great job especially on the ones I use most 160 Grizzlys.

I love my LANSKY. Lansky puts a very very sharp edge on knives. I've sharpened my broadheads with it but, broadheads should not be as sharp as my knives. Lessons learned, complete through and no blood trail.

This might be a little off topic but I use a Spyderco knife sharpener on my broadheads. It gets them so sharp that last year when I stuck myself in the leg I didn't even know it till my sock got wet. That was with a two blade Magnus.
