Title: Glue up tip for slats, etc.
Post by: Roy from Pa on March 23, 2008, 12:06:00 AM
I have been making bows for a few years now. I use Urac 185 for wood applications. I used to lay newspaper down on my work bench when clamping a Z splice together. When taken out of the clamps, the paper would be stuck 100% around the Z splice.

Today I used Freezer Paper, one side of it has a wax coating. The freezer paper with the wax side towards the glue joint came off slick as a whistle. The Z splice was 100% free of any paper sticking to it. Try it, you will love it. Roy
