Perhaps a novice question but, if a bow has been made for shooting 3 under, what happens if it is shot split fingers? Is it going to throw the arrow nock high or low, or what other thing would be going on? Thanks
in my personal experience, nothing,i have owned over 2 hundred bows in my life, most of the highend ones, and a lot of realy good one's,and i make my own also, some i even tiller, some have some positive tiller, and i can never tell any difference,i shoot 3 under.but now after only shooting 2 hundred bows or more some people with more experience than me will have more expert opinion's than my 2 cent's worth.let me add that all the bows i have owned were all kept for some time, some only a week some 2 or three weeks, some longer than that, but they were all shot plenty.best regards, robert  :archer:
dont matter at all...........
You may need to adjust the nock point a little downward, if it's been set up for three under, but other than that, nothing different happens.
I had an even tillered McDonald longbow, center of the bow was dead center in the grip and the bow was tillered equal top and bottom. It worked for three under, it wasn't what I ordered, I hate shooting three under. It was just an odd feeling off balanced club to me, I gave it to my son in-law as a back up bow.
Thanks. I asked because as I brouse the adds, I did'nt know if it was something to be concerned with or not.
Like everyone else it don't matter. One thing, I have found though is, I find it harder to sell a bow tillered for three under VS split finger. Just something to keep in mind.
