hi i shoot 150-200 grain field points on my 340 axis and bemans, problem
is that they have a rule at my club when shooting
indoor the points must not be thicker than the shaft because off the strammit wears to quick and they have hade points come loose personaly i dont think the points should come loose iff glued in properly .do you know any one that sells custom points for axis shafts, easton only make them in 100 125 grain . im curently using 11/32 150g with broadhead adapter rings to make a taper .
thx cody

if you are shooting 200 grains up front you can use the brass insert and the 100 grain tip.

I use the 340's with 100grn insert and 200grn points. The points I have are called easy pull or something from Kustom King. They are larger diameter but they have a back shoulder at the shaft connection. They don't rip or damage the targets when you pull them because the shoulder. They fit better w/out the adapters. If you showed the set up to the range I think, they may let you shoot them.

Try Larry at "Lost Nation Archery"! He may have what youre lookin' for!

Just take a file to them. Chuck the points in a drill and go for it, your only going to loose a few gr. Alan

I'll second Lost Nation Archery...good guys.

The 3Rivers catalog shows screw-in points that weight 200 and 250 grains with the tappered down bases to fit the Axis shafts.

You can also foot those shafts with an 1 1/2" of 2018, adds about 15 gr., your tips will fit flush, and it makes these arrows darn near indestructable, just remember to taper the trailing edge of the aluminum footing and you should be fine...................steve

Points for the Axis type shafts are available. If you use the 100 grain brass inserts you can easily find 100 or 125 grain screw in points that will fit flush.
