After three months of trying to sell my wheels, there was a fellow that bought it today ! :knothead:
Needless to say, I filled out the receipt, he paid me in cash
And after looking at it, it looks like the PEEP took the whole brunt of the firing, it was totally crushed !!
I checked out the limbs, cams, and said thank you, you now have a new bow !
I've never seen so many shades of red :goldtooth: :goldtooth: :goldtooth:
One "Bob Lee" Hunter and One "Whip", for right now that's enough to keep me busy.
Now I have four more feet of shelf in my closet !
Pastor Carl
When gave up the wheels. I opened my shed, laid the bow on the floor, closed the shed door just enough so I could stick wire cutters in to cut the string! I never looked back!
Lone Archer, that's funny lol.
lol lone archer yuo might as well have givvin it away!
haha!
Congrats!! What a feeling I tell ya :bigsmyl:
Check my handle..... Nuff Said ! :biglaugh:
nocams
Never look back.Lonearcher i took cash for mine,i would have like to have been thier. :scared:
The reason I sold mine, yes I was able to get every penny I put into it, minis $60, so now I have enough " Cash " in my bow fund, to purchase the Bob Lee Bicentennial, and then some :biglaugh:
If it was just an old thing with some wheels, and cams, I would it just gave it away, but you got a use your head sometimes, it may have taken me three months to sell, but the time was worth it, although I'm not going to purchase a Bicentennial, as I can't wait until my Bob Lee
" Hunter " arrives shortly, but of course I do have my " Whip " to shoot until then, poor me !
And then I have a new eagle flight quiver that I'm waiting for. They probably have even gotten the check yet. Sent its snail mail.
Now at the bow shop, when guys ask "what do you shoot", I'd like to hang my bow at the bow shop, so I can show them, but our shop is not that secure, I'd be afraid of losing it, just for the looks, you know the work that Dan puts into his bows, don't want to chance it !
But it sure is going to be fun, I have a lot to learn.
And then somebody comes on here, and talks about elk in Kentucky ! I'm not afraid of losing 10 bucks, I'm afraid of winning a lottery tag !
Pastor Carl
Way to go Carl!
But, jus' so's you know: this sickness never ends, just grows STRONGER! :archer:

I gave my to a friend's son, he took it out last season and shot his first archery deer with it, now we both feel good.
I remember when I got rid of the wheels. I sold everything on the bay and took a hit. I didnt really care. I took the $ and bought a Dwyer longbow, some fletching snd string jigs, etc, etc. I have shot one compound since. I was shooting at an indoor range and there was myself and another gent. He was shooting a Mathews with his fingers and asked me if I wanted to try. I really didnt but he kept asking so I did. I shot one arrow and handed his bow back to him. He shot my bow for about 30 minutes.
Every once in a great while I miss taking a 100 yard shot with a compound and punchin it. At the end of my compound days the long shot was the only thing challenging and that was fun. Wouldnt mind having an old Martin Dynabow to take to a 3D shoot once in a while.
Congrats. I think mine will be gone in the next few months or so. I can't wait!
welcome to the light side of the force
I sold mine to a friends brother for a song practically gave it to him.Not sure I'd have made somebody buy it for an accidental dry fire if thats what you where saying anyway LOL it happens sometimes.
It wasn't a full D/F , he was going to buy the bow in the first place, he was ok with it.
Carl
Don't look back! You will enjoy the ride now!
I still have my old compound rotting away in the basement. Probably not worth anything anymore and should just go in the trash. Should have taken what I could get back then.
i had wheels. then I picked up a cheap grizz. That was back when I was right handed. I switched to left and got my hands on the only thing I could, left handed wheels. So I shot it for practice. Then I finally got the lefty recurve I wanted and sold the grizz on E to the Bizzle for $100 more than I bought it for. Made for a nice set of arrows.
