I posted this on LW as well so apologies if anyone has seen this already. I'm looking to get some more opinions.
I've been away from archery for a while but when I stopped shooting, I had a 55# Martin Savannah that I loved. It was a gift, and is very sentimental.
I've recently been back shooting, and bought a 40# Savannah and feel like I'm back into shooting shape. I'd like to break out my old 55# and start shooting that again.
However, when I took it out of it's sock, I remembered that as a teenager, I wasn't as kind to my equipment as I should have been. I shot the bow with a clicker in both positions at one point, and left the ball chain on. There are many dings in the finish from that that look to be cosmetic.
The concerning spots, are at the edges of my limbs. There are various spots where it looks like there are small chips/dings in the glass edges. Many of them are not visible but can be felt with a finger.
The worst of them is pictured.
They can all be felt with a finger nail, but they won't pick up a piece of tissue if I drag it over them. My concern is the glass lifting along the edges. On the largest ding pictured (top picture) I tried putting a drop of superglue over top of it. It didn't disappear when wetted out so I'm thinking that that spot has already lifted.
Is this bow still shootable? Would there be someone I could send it to that would be able to repair any of the damage? Does it need repair?
Sorry for all of the questions.
Thanks to all.

Try running a cotton ball over the ding noted in the first picture to see if it grabs any strands, I'm not sure a tissue would grab on a small sliver if it's laying flat. If you don't have one, loosen up the cotton on a Q-Tip and use that. The dings in the second picture look like they are in the coating. If you are comfortable with it you could try wet sanding them out with some 400 grit and refinishing the area. Let me know what the cotton ball says.

If you do have any small slivers you can sand them as well. The pic does not look that bad.

Looks entirely cosmetic to me. I would shoot that bow without any concern if it were me.

I tried the q-tip and that particular spot will grab a couple of 'hairs' off of the q-tip.
At this point, my thinking is to try sanding these spots with a little 400 grit, filling anything that needs to be filled with some loctite 420, and then sanding smooth and trying to blend the finish as best I can.
Thanks for the info.

put a drop of glue on the spot before sanding to lock those fibers down--then sand lightly ! re apply glue to seal
