Hey guys,

I have 2 slots (late season)open for groups of up to 4 guys/gals , trad only lease, no other pressure on whitetails.

Late season can be great, if you get between bed and food , you have a great chance of getting on a deer.

Excellent cabin 1/4 mile from hunting. Ask anybody who has been here, they all love the cabin I'm thinking!!

We have a great deer population right now, turkeys are down a bit.

I have 8 silent weldshop ladder stands just made off the ones I've been using. They make no noise unlike the store ladder stands. Will have most of them up, might save a couple in case of a hot area popping up.

There are great bucks seen every year, but it is trad bowhunting and the bucks don't get big by chance....

Great hunting for deer at an affordable price. I started hunting this property when it first became available and watched as it improved every year... and it was dam good in the beginning.

The guy in January this year, had a 17 yard shot at a decent 8 point. He claims I left a twig when I cleared shooting lanes...... :o

Have talked to a couple guys, but no takers yet. The property is trad bow only, landlady said she feels better with no guns, so we make it work without.

The season ends Sunday so probably too late for this spring.  You get two turkey and two deer on the fall archery permit tho....

Yeah, I knew it was closing this weekend. I usually hunt in Ellington which is south central mo. Always looking for new places to hunt.

The guy who owns the cabin my hunters stay in is down for turkey season each spring so we have to juggle it to have it for him.

But if you’re interested next spring, give me a shout and will see what we can set up!!

I may do that Kenny. I'd love to do one of the deer hunts up there with some trad guys sometime. Maybe one year!

Regulations can be found on MDC website, and if you want a map of area, pm me your email or phone number and I’ll get you maps.

NR liscense is $225 and includes tag for 2 turkey  abd 2 deer , all either sex except only one buck can be taken before gun season .
