Title: Which one-piece recurve?
Post by: Robert Honaker on March 19, 2008, 09:22:00 AM
Hello fellas. I have a hanker'n for a short one piece recurve. I'd like to find one no more than 58in long.
Problem is I have ape arms.
Are there any short curves out there that wouldn't stack bad at 30in?
Last shortbow I had broke a limb, I think because of my long draw.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks  :wavey:

My 60" whisperstick dosen't stack out past 30".  They also have a 58" and a 56".  I know they have some 58" in stock.  Top notch bows and priced right too.

I should have said that my experience with short bows is that most under 60in "hits a wall" past 28in.
I would really like to have a 54incher. Just wonder if a bow that short really can handle it?

The 58 inch Fox Breed is still smooth past 29.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
Dave, where can I find a pic of the Fox Breed?
I did a search and didn't find much.
Also, the RER Arroyo looks sweet.

Brent at Black mountain is also working on a 54" 2 piece Sheepeater. His bows will handle your draw no problem.
