I have dreamed of hunting Pronghorn Antelope for 34 years. When the dream began at the tender age of 15 I never dreamed I would use a longbow to fulfill my dream. In addition to an amazing hunt I got to share it with my good friend Thom Jorgensen which made the adventure all the more special.
Here are the details.
Location: Near Casper, Wyoming
Dates: August 15th - 17th, 2016
Bow used: Pacific Yew Classic Longbow named "Charisma" 68" 73@28
Arrow: 31" Black Eagle "Vintage" 350 spine shaft with 2" 2219 footing, 780 grains total weight
Broadhead: Magnus Classic Single Bevel 150 grain on 250 grain stainless steel adapter from Jon Hand
Buck was shot at around 23-25 yards hunting over a waterhole from a blind. Gross/green score 73 5/8"
