Hay guys. What glue do you use to fletch up your carbon arrows? Thanks Mike.

Goat Tuff.

Have used it on carbons for years and never a delam.  Use it on inserts too, but if you have to remove and insert, heat a field tip red hot, screw in and pull at the same time.  Easy to ruin a carbon w/heat.

I like to put a crown color on my arrows, even the carbons.  If you do that, the Platinum won't adhere well.  I use Duco over a painted finish.

I've given quite a few different fletching glues a try, and have been very disappointed with all of them! So what I do now, is buy a few of the smallest tubes of super glue I can find (usually about 3oz tubes) and keep them sealed in my kit box until I want to fletch a bunch of arrows. That way I don't waste glue by it getting too old to use, and it's always fresh, which is when I've found it to be strongest and easiest to use.  ;)

You will not go wrong with Fletch Tite Platinum.

Depends on what carbons that you are fletching.

Platinum works on ADs, CX, GTs and shafts with cap wraps without an issue.  It has never worked for me on Beman and Axis shafting and for that reason any carbon that Easton makes I use a cyanoacrylate glue with an accelerator.  I treat grizzly sticks the same way because of their slick finish. I have also had mixed results with platinum and various paints and finishes so when paint is involved I used either duco or a cyanoacrylate glue. dino
