Black Widow PSA!!!
Bill
Morrison Cheyenne.
What another opinion? Without a doubt...Blacktail Bows!!! I do love my Cheyenne though.
Black Widow MA11
Whichever one I'm shooting at the time of the question.
Blacktail and Morrison
RER is one, so is the Silvertip.
I seem to agree with you on this Roknjs.
Might as well ask if redheads, blondes, or brunettes make the best girlfriends... :D
Seriously, don't you have a Bob Lee Signature? It would be hard to beat as far as shootability is concerned. Thought I saw you trying to sell some extra limbs for one on classifieds. Paul.
Zipper!
Silvertip with dymondwood riser.
Is that a LOADED question or WHAT>>>---->> :) so many bows so little time...JUST ONE???? :)
Jack Kemp....
I HAVE A SILVERTIP. SHOT MY FRIEND MIKE'S WIDOW NICE BOW. I THINK I LIKE THE SILVERTIP FOR MYSELF. MY FRIEND MIKE LIKES THE TIP ALSO. HE HAD A TIP, SOLD IT TO A GANG MEMBER TO ORDER ANOTHER. I ASKED WY NOT SELL THE WIDOW HE SAID MARAGE WAS MORE IMPOTANT BEING IT WAS A WEDING GIFT FROM HIS WIFE BRENDA.
Fedora 560 TD

Yes, I just took delivery of my new Lee Signature Hunter a couple days ago. It's shooter and thats' for sure.
I haven't shot near enough bows to render an opinion on the "best" TD recurve. It's such a subjective question that it's impossible to answer anyway.
For what it's worth, so far the one that's best for me is the 58" Lee Signature Hunter. I'm also partial to the Check-Mate Hunter II. I have one, and also have a 58" riser on order.
Nope, I don't have any Lee limbs on the classifieds...
Whichever one you happen to own.Everyone wants to own the best. For me DAS.
My Wes Wallace mentor...no wait, it's my Great Plains bamboo..no, actually it's my Ancient Spirits Thunderhawk.. wait,I know, it's my Fox High Sierra! AAW heck I can't really decide.
I'd say if you're calling Bob, Dale, Dave or Norm when you order a bow you're getting the "best" there is......
Wes Wallace Mentor and Marriah Thermal, probably the prettiest bow Ive ever seen.
never posted much (actually i dont think i ever posted anything here:)), but to me its sid ball, and his team at borderarchery in scotland with their black douglas line:)
rob
If I shoot it good,I like it :) Jason
Quinn, navajo assenheimer,chek-mate,hummingbird pic one
I'll agree it's Jack...But guys it's Jack Kempf from AB. Canada, and he makes the finest shooting bows out there IMHO...he manages to build them with all the finest qualities that make a bow that preforms very well and are easy to shoot.
The best one is the one that takes your fancy and that you make some good memories with.
IT Only the SilverTip for me,, It not just an amazing bow,, but great history and mojo,, you just got to read the fisrt Paragrath of an article writen about paul,, and you just got to grab that bow and get shooting,,
Some of you speak about Jack Kemph, but I don't know him, can you tell me more about him please ?

Philippe

Thank very much Havcl, but I've two, and very happy with .
Do you know that Sid is working on a shoe, fitting on Black Douglas riser, and accepting ILF limbs ? Sid ball sent me pics about, but in PDF, and I can't post it like a pic, but if somebody want to have a look, just @mail me, it's 3D view

Can't believe I have read all these posts and haven't seen Robertson's Stykbow yet. I have two a Vision Falcon and a Prarie Falcon that he retired but built five for a group of guys which I was lucky to be one. Very smooth, very fortgiving.
He obviously does better workmanship than I do spelling, duh.
Philippe.
He does good work, mine is a hunting bow not to worried about the ILF thing  Dont know exactly what it is...
I what a set of 75-80lb limbs fro this riser, mine now is 68# Hex 5's
Sent you 2 pm's>>>>>>>>

Something about the simplicity of a Bob Lee - not the prettiest but tough to beat in a hunting bow.
For me it's the Shafer Silvertip! ;)
Morrison Cheyenne
Assenheimer.
Never know till you shoot them all :bigsmyl:
Robertson Vision Falcon!
Assenheimer for me
for me: BlackWidow PSA, so far!...Mike
Thank so much for the pics Joe !!!

Phil
ttt...
This is all crazy talk. If my wife ever hears that there is a "best" bow, then my days of buying and selling are over!!! :biglaugh:
I've had a few T/D recurves over the past seven years, or so. I would have to provide a list that would include, in no particular order, Marriah Thermal (have one on order), Dale Stahl, Blacktail (I've never had a T/D, but do have a fine shooting one piece), and one that I only have the limbs for at present a Firefly riser (should get the riser in May/June timeframe) with TradTech Extreme BF 50# long carbon limbs. I'll be picking up the 50# Extreme BF limbs after work today!
I would also have to include the Border Black Douglas Swift with HexIV limbs and DAS Hunter with Winex or Border HexIV limbs, as well. Both mighty fine shooting bows.
Bill
My favorite is the Great Plains SR Swift and a Palmer carbon.
Mike
Hmm, now that I think about it, I would also add the Palmer without carbon in the limbs and the Jack Kempf Kwyk Styk. These were both great bows, too.
