Title: DIY arrow crester
Post by: huntnut on March 14, 2008, 06:42:00 PM
My dad, son and me just got done building a freebie arrow crester. We were out cleaning the shop out and ran acrossed an old ice cream maker, so we took the motor off of it and found a way to mount it to a board. Then we made a saddle at the other end of the board for the arrow to ride in. It works great. Turns about 40rpm, I'll be useing it on my wood shafts next week when they get here. Its great to make stuff with your family and even better when you can make it out of stuff just laying around. Tomorrow I get to teach my son how to weld and use the cutting torch. We are makeing a cart for the torch and tanks.

I'll post pics in awhile.
