Hello fellas! After 40 years of traditional archery I feel like I have walked into a warm home on a cold night with good friends waiting for me. I just want to take this time to say, "Thank you for accepting me as one of your own".

I'll chip in with a welcome to the group "welcome" too! I am moving to east central Wisconsin within the next year - currently in concreteville. Hate it here (west of Milwaukee - condo).
Pat, welcome. This site is a GREAT. your gonna love it here! Jim
I ordered a new three piece long bow from Dryad Bows. Seems to be a good guy. Has anyone ever owned or knew of some one who owned a Dryad bow that could tell me about their experience with it? Also, I owned a long bow made by Don Dow called, "Styck". Does anyone have any information about this bow and bowyer? I have to replace the long bow because of a house fire and I need to know about how much I am looking to pay for another or something similar.

Welcome Pat. I live in Barron and have hunting land around Cozy Corner.
Welcome aboard!! :campfire:
Here are some Dryad pics of mine I just got from the post office this morning Great Whited Hunter. I have my brace at 7 1/4 inches. 63lbs at my draw. My arrows are a tad overspined for this bow. I should be using CX Heritage 250's instead of the 350's I have already. This bow really surprised me because of it's smoothness of draw. I thought it felt like a mid 50's weight bow instead of 63#@29". The speed is there, shooting very flat out to 26 yards using 640gr arrows. The bocote riser is absolutely gorgeous. Don't you think?

Beautiful bow! Nice wood grain, very nice lines. I can't wait for mine!! I ordered the three piece Orion. I am sure it will be a good shooter. I am thinking of ordering another long bow from Stotler Archery as I have wanted one of these for a long time. I had a house fire in Jan of this year and lost all of my bows. So, insurance company said get new ones!! They didn't have to tell me twice!! haha!!! Nice talking to you and once again, beautiful bow!! Pat.
