anyone shot this head at 160 grains.....how is the quality , sharpness, and flight
Im looking for a 170 grain screw in two blade
head...do you know of any ?
THANKS!
Shot the 135 grain for a few years. It did very well for me.Well made and strong head.Real smooth transition from the ferrule to the head for low friction. It Looks seamless. These were the older heads that have the same design as the new ones but did not have the cutlery grade stainless steel like the new ones. The new ones do look like a very high quality head.I just bought 2 6 packs of the older Tempests. 142 grain ones because the quality is good and the design is proven. They fly quietly and true for me.

have fun steve
i dont want to mess with adapters....are they making some of the zwickies in a screw in models....
no they dont only glue ons!!!
Zwickey does have screw ins available, they have the adapters already installed. I believe the Delta screw in is the weight your looking for or very close to it.
or if you shoot carbons, 3 rivers sells a glue in 100grn brass tapered broadhead adapter that your glue on heads will go right on and you don't have to worry about the aluminum adapter.
I haven't shot the Tempest, but have shot the Zephyr Sasquatch and am very impressed. Very sharp right out of the package, easy to touch up, and they shoot great. They weigh 160gr. as a 2-blade screw-in, 165gr. with the bleeder blade installed.

I also use tempest the sre very sharp and fly great for me.
