Title: KY Bowfishing Action
Post by: Greg Clark on June 22, 2012, 07:59:00 PM
My buddy Troy from IL met up again this year for a little bow-fishing.  Action on the lake was a little slow due to low water but found some pretty good shooting below the dam.  Here are a couple of pics.

I don't think I have ever seen either of those fish (unless the first one is a catfish)! What are they?

Congrats,

Bisch

That first fish does resemble a cat. Great pics, thanks for sharing.  :clapper:

The first fish is a bighead carp.  It is one of the "new" asian carp, but not the jumping one.

Looks like a great day, Greg.  What water are you fishing?

those bigheads are actully good eating, if you dont mind spending a little time filleting out some boneless meat from around all them bones, and they are fun to shoot
