I recently was able to purchase a ben pearson lady mercury bow.ser # 1097 in good shape and was wondering what it is really worth.says pat pending on it and 27# at 26" draw length.my engineer told me about this web site and said you were some straight shooters.thanks

well I took some pictures of it and if you can guide me I will upload them. the rest of the information on the bow is as follows.ben pearson golden solverign series 1097 64" 97-1 27# 26" pat pend. I have not tried to clean the bow up yet because I don't want to risk damanging it by doing it wrong

Those are great shooters..I think yours is a 1968-1970ish.I'll check and see if I have a catalog from that year..Yes I would clean her up and make sure everything is straight and solid.Maybe get a new string and go have some fun with her...There's actuly mercury in those capsuls.The mercury would absorb the shock of the bow.If you gently roll the bow around in your hand you will feel the mercury moveing...Pretty cool bow...bowdoc
