Finally got a shot at a deer with my new recurve. Button buck at 10yds. went about 40yds. and fell over. Complete pass through 650gr. Twig tapered ramin shaft with a magns I.

Congrats! That's some good eating right there. What was your setup? Ground blind, tree stand? Very nice!

Set up was out of a 30 foot treestand, 10yds. never seemed so far. Cookout is undecided, gave the meat to a buddy of mine who asked for a bow kill for him. Tasty little critters though. Thanks again all.

Congrats.  Stupid question but do you notice any difference in your shot at 30 feet up?  I'm always worried to get up that how since I went to trad
