Very nice desert dude.
The bottom fits my taste well.
Thanks for sharing your skills.
very cool desert dude!!!!!!!!
Nice! Me being a guy that's into the little extras, I like those quivers. They are one of a kind! Good work. Mike
DesertDude,
Great looking quivers. I just finished a similar looking quiver, but it's pretty plain right now and I'm gonna fix it up a bit before I post a pic. Could you post a top view and maybe a side view so I can get a better idea of the diameter of the mouth of the quiver and the front to back width of it. Also, what kind of leather did you use?
Thanks,
Brian
Very sharp! and nice lacing job :notworthy:
Brian, I used 6/7. most of the quivers 21" wide by 23" tall, that is the size leather I start with. that comes out to 8 1/2 wide and about 2 1/2 sides. the over lap is 1 1/2". They are really easy to make. I'm planning a "How-To" when I get my new camera. I like to use belt blanks from tandy for the strap. alot of options with belt blanks........Mark
Beautiful, Iam ready to get one made:-)
Outstanding work:-)
I really like your quivers. Very Nice.
Danny
A lot of hard work went into that quiver. That's craftsmanship that will last and that you can be proud to wear for long time. Beautiful job!
Great Job on them Quivers...I like them....
Beautiful work and special design work on the decorated pockets/pouches. Arrows are no "seconds" either.
ATTENTION MODS - please allow this thread to continue.
ATTENTION MARK - you can now make your post.
Thanx,
Rob.
Just a few word about the Quivers. I make these for friends and for charity events. Every Quiver you see has been given or donated. I love to make things and give them as gifts. I don't sell these. I hope in no way did I offend anyone who sells quivers or leather work. An Ol'Timer taught me how to make alot of archery related Items, just my way of giving back..........Mark
Thank you Mark! You make some truly Great quivers (and arrows!) - your efforts and heart are to be highly commended!
Rob.
Mark, I just got back to you on your e mail, but it looks like it's all worked out. I guess I was a little late......Nice stuff!
Works of art Mark, keep it up.....
David
Hey Mark,
VERY nice! And it's also great what you do with them. Another true Trad Ganger! Keep it up! Terry.
Mark, I like the stiches, as well as the feathers and dreamcatcher on that one. I would like to learn how to make a quiver.
Superb! :clapper:
I wish I had a fraction of your talent!
F-Manny
Thank you all for the kind words. I would enjoy doing a build along when the new dig camera comes in. When is the St Judes auction? I think I need to make one for that....If you have any question on "How-To" just IM me and I'll be more than glad to help......
When Is the 2007 St Judes auction?
Wonder what one of these babies would bring St. Judes?? Great workmanship. You are blessed.
I can only repeat what has already been said VERY nice.I really like the dreamcatcher.
Excellent Mark. Does the leather you use break in kind of flat and form fitting to ones back?
after awhile, I oil it really well while making it. It's 6/7 leather. It still takes time to "break" it in. It forms to the back nicely after time...........mark
Those are nice, have lots of soul! Dan
Outstanding work. I just love the first one, it is one that I would use proudly. If you ever decide to sell one PM or e-mail me.
Again, beautiful work Mark. Your charitable heart is an inspiration to us all.
Jeff
Desert, really looking forward to your quiver buildalong. :clapper:
