Post by: Splitty on March 12, 2008, 11:20:00 AM
What is the best string to get for a BW longbow?

Also, I have a string made for another l/b . The bow was 66'   will it work for my bw longbow 66.

Don't know about best, I've used Mt Muffler and even tried B50, but I'm back to the DF97 that comes on the bow and can be purchased from BW.  I do find the woolie wiskers to be quiter than the spider things.

The ones that come with em work great as mentioned. Also the length is perfect with about 1 twist per inch of string.you dont want a string with too many twist or not enough twists in a flemish.
