I need a hunting quiver but don't want to buy one so I am looking for ideas on how to modify my old back quiver. It has nothing at all to organize or secure the arrows and they all rattle together.
Ovbiously I want to keep my broadheads from banging into each other and silence.
For cheap I could insert foam into the bottom to catch the broadheads....but what about up top?
Thanks
How about stopping by a local shop and picking up a few of the foam or plastic seperators that they ship gold tips in? I've gotten lots of packing materials for shipping stuff (bows and arrows)from my local guys. You might be able to use one in the top of your back quiver to hold the shafts in place.
up top just line the quiver with fur that stops the rattle  :archer:
I got some leather and made some tip covers to keep the heads from hitting each other on Robs suggestion and it works great.
On the top, when I hear noise I try to move slower.
Do what us old timers do: grab a handfull of dry grass, stuff it in the quiver. No more noise, no waiting for the postman, price is right! Biff
thanks all
