I shot this sow (she's not as big as the photo makes her out to be) today, using my 66# @ 28" Silvertip recurve and Douglas fir / STOS arrows:

Way to go, Ben.
OK, I have to ask SQ, what the heck is that thing in your avatar? A tasmanian devil????
-
Thanks, fellows. G'day Ray, it was my first traditional bowkill, a feral jack donkey, taken back in September of 2004 with my first tradbow, a Martin Hunter. We have over 5-million feral African wild ass roaming the Top End and deserts, having bread-up from those that were released by the teamsters when motorised transport came on the scene.
-
Great pigs Ben, and a great Wild Ass for your first Trad Kill.
