I use  www.tinypic.com (http://www.tinypic.com)  ..

However there are more professional sites, like :

www.picasa.com (http://www.picasa.com)  - a downloadable program used to create web albums

www.flickr.com (http://www.flickr.com)  - a site where many photographers share their work

I use tinypic.com also. No registration,no albums to keep...just upload right off your pic file. The site is never down. Very easy to use

It is very easy to resize pictures in Windows!

You can always right click on a picture and choose "edit" to open in Paint
(Alternative is to press "Start --> Accessories --> Paint, the open your file manually)

When in paint with the picture open, press 'Crtl and R' at the same time to bring up the resize box.
Then type 640 PIXELS (not percent) as the max width.
If you have the 'Maintane Aspect Ratio' box checked, the height/length wil follow automatically.

Save as new file if you are keeping the picture for yourself, or just save and overwrite if you don't care..

The picture is then ready for posting on forum  :)

Hope this helps!

By the way, you can always check youtube for a tutorial on resizing images in paint by simply searching for 'resizing pic paint' or by clicking this link if you're lazy like me ^^

Enjoy!

Still can't figure out why so many people have such a problem with photobucket and posting pics.
I'm far from a computer whiz and it really isn't a big deal.

I am a major internet geek.  I pay for my bows by working with computers and imgur is by FAR the best way to post pictures on forums like these.  If anyone has any questions how to use it PM me and I can help you.  Also, imgur protects your privacy far better than any of the other sites.  Here is the link

How about video?  Flikr and imgur don't have video capabilities and I don't want to register for any more unless I know they have video.

ANY online photo archive will work just fine for trad gang posts - just be SURE the image is no wider than 640!

Thanks Rob. As soon as our big computer is up and running I'll be able to post pics. Woohoo!
