Has anyone done any tests on the Tasker 2 blade recently. I've ordered some because they seem to be unfinished enough to allow grinding to individual preference.
I ordered the Concorde @ 190 and the Javelin @ 145. Both were already fitted to thread into the shafts I am currently using.
I'm figuring on using 100 brass inserts up front to load up on FOC.
They are not here yet and I will have to experiment.
Used all of the glue-ons, except the Spirit, for a couple of years. Took sometime to get them sharp but once I had them ready to go they held an edge fairly well. Did end up squaring off the tips as one curled on the first hog I shot with them. Can honestly say I had no issues with them minus that one tip curling which is easy to fix.

They are TUSKER broadheads not Tasker.
And I'm thinking of trying some myself....
Forgot to mention that. When I first seen this I thought maybe there was a new head out.
At times I forget to proof read my typing which is about as good as my shooting accuracy.
I have Tuskers in 155 and 125. The original ones I got had not edge started at all. the 125's just got here and they have a started edge-double bevel. I was thinking about trying to build a single edge out of the 125's. Then just when it was wharp enough, glue a schick injector blade along the edge. When it came time to "resharpen" I'd put the head in the freezer to separate the metals , clean it up and glue another schick on. We used to do that Schick thing in the 70's and it worked pretty well on the goats on Catalina.
The Tusker is a solid head. i dress up the forward edge of the piece that holds the shaft with a file. they take a good edge with a regular file. it is very popular in Aus, and many of the large Asian water buffs are taken every year with them.
