Title: Black locust riser

I know black locust is used quite often for core lams.
Anybody ever use it for risers?
Got any pics?

I used it years ago. It made a nice looking riser but, if I remember correctly was open pored and difficult to get filled.  I would certainly use it again without hesitation.
