Few shots here of latest couple of bows I've made. An osage 'character' bow with a few knots and bumps, and a takedown with all Aussie woods.s1382.photobucket.s1382.photobucket.com

Very nice Bob, the art work looks great, and I really like the Aussie woods.

Both are really nice, but I love the wood in that takedown.

thanks fellas. Roy took me about 6 years to get the hang of photobucket [ sort of] so not keen on changing places mid stream. :knothead:

LOL. Imgur is very easy to master. Even for an old guy like me.

" even for an old guy like me" Dang Roy we're the same age 'n' I'm just getting to my prime!!! :D

Atta boy.. :)

Nice work!
-
Sweet!! Which wood is which in the TD? Love that veneer at butt end of limbs!!
-
Nice builds Bob!
-
Thanks again guys! ---and Roy! :bigsmyl:
Kenny the wood, bottom part of veneers is Tasmanian Blackheart Sassafras, bit of a premium wood here. The other is Burdekin Plum which has beautiful swirling grain in places. Making a sister bow to that one soon which will be reverse of it Sass. in center of riser and plum either side.
