Finished up my youngest daughter Avery's bow yesterday.
58", 30# @24". Grandillo riser with maple lams. The tips were narrowed slightly with extra long overlays. This way I can trim some length later so that the bow can grow with her.
Im just glad I remembered to cut her riser on the wrong side.lol

Overall I really liked the grandillo. Cut nice and hand sanded nicely. Which really surprised me given how heavy the wood is. I did notice that some sections wanted to clog my small drum sanders. But a quick spin in reverse and they came clean.

That's what I thought of it too. Don't have the bow done, was helping a bud build it when he fell getting into a tree stand and broke his back. Miracle but he's getting along great now. He will be back to finish one of these days.

Nice, she must be happy :)

Thanks guys. It was her riser design with just a little influence from dad.
And yes, she loves it!
